Postpartum & Lactation

The first 90 days, tended to at home.

Postpartum physiotherapy, IBCLC-level lactation support, mental health check-ins and sleep coaching — one team, no handoff.

Why it matters

The fourth trimester is when mothers are most alone and least screened. Wombly stays. Recovery, feeding, mood and sleep are all held by the same team that carried you through pregnancy.

The science, in plain language

What the evidence says.

01

Lactation support raises breastfeeding rates.

IBCLC-led support significantly increases any and exclusive breastfeeding at 3 and 6 months (Cochrane, 2017).

02

Postpartum PT works.

Structured pelvic-floor and diastasis programs reduce urinary incontinence and abdominal separation persistence at 12 weeks postpartum (BJSM, 2020).

Frequently asked

Questions mothers ask us.

01
When does postpartum support start?
Within 48 hours of birth — the first home visit is scheduled before you leave the hospital.
02
What if I choose to formula-feed?
You are fully supported. Our team helps with safe formula feeding, mixed feeding and weaning.
03
Can I get help if breastfeeding is painful?
Yes. An IBCLC-trained consultant assesses latch, positioning and tongue-tie in your home.
04
Is postpartum depression screening included?
Yes. We screen at week 2, week 6 and month 3, and connect you to a counsellor if needed.
